I originally wanted to use this enclosure with a 2020 13" MacBook Pro with 3733MHz Memory,
macOS Catalina 10.15.7
You are able to initialize the Samsung 970 Evo flash drive in OS journaled but that's it.
Connected via the USB-C Cable to USB-C in any port
It gets extremely hot
Slows the computer down
Transferring data onto it is really slow
It ejects itself
Unable to empty to trash or reformat?

Connected the enclosure to a 2019 27" 5K iMac or a 2015 A1502 13" MacBook Pro via the USB 3 to USB-C with the same Samsung 970 evo
macOS Mojave 10.1.4.6 & macOS 10.15.6
The enclosure works fine.

Just tried an OWC Envoy Pro EX USB-C with the same Samsung 970 Evo NVMe M.2 with the 2020 13" MacBook Pro with 3733MHz Memory, USB-C to USB-C
macOS Catalina 10.15.7
The enclosure works fine and it does not get hot.
